Message from Canadian journalist Jeff Pierce to Ethiopians

  Jeff Pierce, a Canadian journalist who is known as a friend of Ethiopia in the face of foreign campaigns in Ethiopia, has called on Ethiopians to speak out in support of their country.

  I would be happy to be with you as you stand together for the glory and freedom of your country.

  Although I am not near you, I would like to tell you that there are many brothers and sisters here in Canada, the United States and Europe who oppose the pressure and interference of the West and the United Nations, including me.

  It is not easy to see your family and friends going to the front to make sacrifices for their country.  What is more, it is painful to see people being killed by terrorists.

  But there is no choice.

  You know that if they get a chance, they will destroy you.  It is now clear that Western governments have allowed the terrorist group to isolate you.

  So you have to pay a price to secure your freedom.  Reaffirm your freedom as your ancestors paid for your freedom, and save yourself from this deadly group.  On this occasion, I would like to point out that even though the West has turned its back on you, others who are trying to understand the truth are by your side.

  You are Ethiopia!  The only place on earth where human beings live!  You are still at the top.  So, at this time, cross the sea to Washington, Geneva, Brussels and Egypt to make your voice heard and collectively proclaim the reality of your country.
